When Ashlee Simpson and husband Evan Ross — youngest son of the legendary Diana Ross — kick off their “Ashlee + Evan” mini-tour at Bowery Ballroom on Monday night, they will be worrying about a certain little stage crasher: their 3-year-old daughter, Jagger.

“We’re actually nervous for the shows, ’cause when we’re in rehearsal, she won’t get off the stage,” Ross, 30, tells The Post. “She literally won’t leave the stage. She’ll dance the entire time until the end of the set.”

It shouldn’t come as a surprise that Jagger — named after Mick, natch — would already be showing endless love for the stage: Both of her parents come from show-biz families, and now they’ve combined their musical DNA into the duo Ashlee + Evan, which released a self-titled EP in October.

The project marked a singing turn for Ross, who has acted in films (“The Hunger Games: Mockingjay — Part 1” and “Part 2”) and TV (currently on Fox’s “Star”), and a recording comeback for Simpson, who hasn’t released a solo album since 2008’s “Bittersweet World.”

“I had taken a very, very long break,” says Simpson, 34, who scored her biggest hit with “Pieces of Me,” her debut single, in 2004. “For me, it was just a time when parenting and being a mom was my sole focus.” (She also has a 10-year-old son, Bronx, with ex-husband Pete Wentz of Fall Out Boy.)

If it weren’t for Ross’ busy acting career, “Ashlee + Evan” — which features production by Earth, Wind & Fire bassist Verdine White — probably would have happened sooner.

“I’ve always been trying to focus on music just as much as acting,” says Ross, who had previously released a couple of solo singles. “But acting is one of those things that when it comes, it comes. A project comes, you sign on and then it takes that time away. I just had to decide that I was gonna really take that time and focus on the music. Music was my first love, for sure.”

And it was music that brought the couple together.

“When we first met, we hung out in a recording studio together and listened to music,” says Ross. “From then on, we’ve always loved singing together and coming up with songs. Music was always a big part of our relationship.”

A six-song suite about love, which goes from the breezy single “I Do” to the folky closer “Home” , the “Ashlee + Evan” EP was inspired by their own romance.

“For us, it was just like conversations about love,” says Simpson. “Love is something you work on, so I wanted it to have the different textures.”

The couple sealed their love when they said their “I do’s” at Diana Ross’ Connecticut home in 2014. The mother of the groom even officiated the wedding and sang at the reception.

So has Ross — one of two children whom Diana had with her late ex-husband, Norwegian shipping magnate Arne Naess Jr. — felt pressure to live up to the Supreme One’s musical legacy? “It’s hard to say ‘live up to.’ She’s Diana Ross. At the end of the day, it’s just more about me doing what I love and being able to share that with the world.”

Along the way, Ross will take all the motherly counsel that he can get: “She gives me advice all the time . . . mostly about the business and making sure that I’m doing things right and not being taken advantage of.”

“That’s the advice you wanna listen to,” says Simpson.

They also took creative inspiration from “Diana & Marvin,” the 1973 duets album that the Motown diva did with Marvin Gaye. “Marvin and my mom’s album is one of my favorite albums,” says Ross.

Ross’ mother, his older sister Tracee Ellis Ross and Simpson’s sister, Jessica, all made cameos on the “Ashlee + Evan” reality TV series that featured the duo’s music. The six-episode run ended in October, but Ross and Simpson are in talks for future reality TV projects on the E! channel.

Of course, Simpson got her big break when she appeared on her sister’s MTV reality series, “Newlyweds: Nick and Jessica,” which ran from 2003 to 2005, and then landed her own spinoff, “The Ashlee Simpson Show.”

“Honestly, I never really thought I would come back and do something like that,” says Simpson of her return to reality TV. “I’d been away for so long. I think it just was the right moment for us. And we were a part of it together.”

Staying together as a family is the main thing that makes this mini-tour — which will feature solo numbers as well as their duets — a special undertaking for these two baby loves.

“The majority of the time, our careers pull us apart,” says Ross, “so it’s nice to be able to have this moment with the kids and the family right now.”

“And we really like to be around each other, so it’s a good thing!,” says Simpson, with a laugh.
